it"s no big deal going in your radio to adjust your dk.you"ll need the specks of your radio to find out which little dial (can"t rmember what you call them actually)to turn.most of the time you set it where you want and there"s times you do it and later on down the road it has to be done again...
i also checked out the mic shootout and i preferred the Skythumper which i run myself and i like the Astatic 575M6.he did have all mics at that distance from his mouth and with the mic gain set.it still gives ya a idea on the audio of each mic.the test probably would of been to long to post...
when i was scrolling through my long history here on the pc i seen WWRF and thought HECK i haven"t been there for awhile.i personally like the way the new style of the forum is laid out.
the theft of copper here in the Great Lakes is really out of hand espcially in Detroit,(i live 50 miles north of that joke of a city with its mayor and crime so please don"t laugh at me,LOL),first it was bricks and alumium now copper.in Detroit they steel the copper right in the middle of the day.

he showed how the audio and my dead key were...
on this galaxy 88 i run it works great 100% of the time but if i throw a couple of extra keydowns more then i usually do people say i got a bad buzz in the back ground.they say it sounds like the subject heading.this problem only happens maybe once or twice a year.
it started again...
hows your set up do with that base cobra? i once knew a girl with basically the same set up but she was running an old royce base in her truck(wilson ant.) and she did pretty good.i"d surely at least wrap a bungy cord around that radio to your seat.hit the brakes hard,
hey lords,i still haven"t replaced my ant. yet so if you want you can come over and put up my new I-MAX for me.all you have to do is go up about 100ft up the old oak tree and dodge the mother black squirrlel and her babies.
thing about this oak is that half was up there"s no thick branches so...
wow. this is a strange problem your having.swr is fine when coax is outside of van but terrible when its inside? choked coax is out of the question since you said you routed it.is there maybe some things in your van thats giving you maybe alot of rf? how does your swr do when the coax is...
