I followed the link to the FCC requirements and looked at the FAQ. One notable question missing is... what if the radio was marketed before FCC IDs were attached but it IS FCC Type Accepted? The guy held up an old Cobra 23 channel and it fits that category.

I just saw this on a YouTube video this morning..... so who knows if it is true????? That guy was apparently involved in CB repair and said that HE just heard that the FCC has placed requirements on EBAY that THEY require submission of the FCC ID for any radios put up for sale. The guy went on...

I have an EFHW cut for 40m on the house. I guess I was dumb in mounting it under the eave.... just behind the facia board.... it works... but not well. But it is good to know 40m does leave us some options!!!!

I found a repository years ago and pulled down everything I could. I just now went and looked... the only mention I see of a NW model is the Cobra 25 NW ST, and the same with WX. Did not have anything on any 29 NW model. Sorry.
