    Newer Uniden PC78LTX/LTD radio

    Lift the incoming leg of the L206 coil and put a cap and resistor on it. My PC68LTX swings about 20, with a .470 cap and 100 ohm 1/2 w resistor. I believe their is a way to bypass the modulation trace and diode for 40 watts out of the 520 final, though I haven't gave it a try.

    Hello all, Cobra 29 LTD 1993 manufacture date. Dead keys 4 watts when turned on and swings 8-10 pep. After a few moments the dead key drops to 1 watt and it swings 5 watts pep. Any suggestions on troubleshooting the radio are appreciated.

I contacted the vendor of the bias kit, they stated that the kit works with anthing from a 2030 to a IFRN24... I Agree...

I see that your diagram connects the bias to L12. After looking at the instructions a second time, it sates...
