Funny you should mention SDR. I have been in the process of trying to get my old Softrock going today. Still working out a few kinks, but should be good to go very soon.

Thanks so much! This is a great start and may be all that I need. Not sure yet, but my circuit board side definitely had some components added. It's still a bit tough to determine where some of the clipped wires originate, so I may actually snap a couple of photos and try to narrow it down.
