Both longwires are parallel, at different heights. The loss of signal is both when the MFJ is on and off. Matt

Hi, Sorry for the silly question here, but hey, I'm a beginner... :-) Anyone knows if the MFJ 1026 can be grounded to the receiver's ground (which is itself grounded) or does it have to have it's proper ground installation ? Thanks everyone, Matt
