I know what you mean regarding getting older. I hit that 80 last year 2023.

It’s a MFJ-1890 Moxon beam. 12’ wide and 55” boom. It is for 10 meters but can be adjusted for 11 meters. I’ve got it adjusted for 10 meters. I’ve got a rotor for it but too lazy thus far to hook it up. I’ve got vice grips on the mast pipe. I just turn it where the DX is coming from.

Thus far today right here in 52* rainy North Carolina nothing but mumbling and murmuring and one whistle coming out of my AT-6666. Yaesu 3100 has a little 2 meter traffic. Haven’t awoken the IC-7300. It’s napping and I’m gonna do the same.

10:30’ish last night here Skip was rolling in from NY, CT followed shortly after by TX and OK.

I talked to that Triple One Five as did three other guys nearby to me. 1115 had a consistently strong signal for a lengthy time. Local friend of mine (38 Special North Carolina)sent me a text message excited saying he just talked to a station in Columbia. I asked him to call out again and see...
