I just looked at ARS and the only quad 5 listed is the Plus, not Plus N. They do reference in the description "NEW" but I think that is the same outline that has been up since the introduction of the AT-5555 Plus. This being said, they do of course have the AT-5555N II.

That's the same box mine came in with no check mark but of course was sold and purchased as the Plus.

Keep in mind that the reset function is only good for changes made in the standard menu and not the Service menu.

If indeed it is a clone as I feel it is, the same procedure for changing it from 1 band to 2 band also has the Reset option.

I believe the info for programming channels should be in the owners manual.

I believe Recon is correct and I'm pretty sure there is no programming software available like there is for some of the other models. At the beginning of this thread is the procedures for accessing the service menu and which areas to access. Good luck. 73

I use mine all the time. Yesterday I got Germany, France, Belgium, Venezuela, Reunion Island, Poland, Australia and Hawaii. It's a great radio.

On the Anytone, you can use any Cobra, or the like, 4 pin mic but one of the pins has to be disabled due to the powered leg for the buttons. I don't remember which pin right off but lots of videos and probably good info here. Be sure to do this or damage to the radio will be the result. If you...
