Seriously considering purchasing one of these Fatboy 200 amp power supplies. Anyone have any feedback or information on them? Maybe point me in a different direction or maybe someone here has something for sale or maybe a builder in our midst. Needs to run on 240 voltage.

No I don’t want to build one using megawatt switching supplies.

Thanks
Brad

All the builders use chinese switch mode supplies now don't they?
I was gonna say, pshh do it that way and you can build one yourself. The actual power supply is already made. Just put em in a cabinet, run in parallel, done. Hahaha, that will be $1200 please. Lol.
In all seriousness though, you are gonna have a hard time finding someone that builds high amperage linear power supplies using heavy iron. And if by some chance you do, it is going to be very VERY expensive, and heavy as hell. Transformers aint cheap when you are talking that kind of amperage.

When Anthony over at Fatboy wouldn’t send me an inside picture of his current work the danger “Will Robinson” went off like a Rob Zombie/Korn concert.

I current have two Astron 70’s in parallel. Maybe it’s time to call Megawattl
