And today was nothing! Just local guys but nothing like yesterday. Like a crap shoot.
MUF topped out @ 28.82 mhz. for the day. 10, 11 and 12 meters were all active.

Hearing right now on 38 LSB a station from 3 division Papa tango 265,tried to call him,no dice as conditions were coming and going on my end up here in Central Pennsylvania tonight, thought it was interesting as I'm trying to figure out where 3 division is?? I'm thinking Europe maybe...........

Ran Chicongo to Cowtown in a 16-hr two day drive. Slapped a little Wil on roof of the rental and laughed at how bad it was with a high dollar radio.

Been a long time since I accepted this BAD level of performance. (Terrible, Horrible, Completely Unacceptable).
Be sure your family and friends run a radio install you'd be proud to have. If this is the norm: basic AM into cigar lighter and Little Wil, no wonder so many discount (even, “hate”) CB radio.
A “decent” mag mount antenna (W500 or better) + quality external speaker would have been a world of difference.
A GALAXY DX-99V2? Why?
Nothing it could do to overcome all the rest.

Pretty much dead here in the Alamo City as well...I did hear 1414 out of Chicago and a station or two out of Alabama and Tennessee yesterday for about a 10 minute window. I made a rough contact with 192 out of Kentucky and that was it.
During the week while out on the road,I talked to southern California and Arizona. Also Jamaica as well. Ya Mon Plus I have heard a little Australia in the evening a few times lately.
