11 meter is very quiet?

Just got back from a run with my Cobalt & Q6 Pro and made another Texas contact and Netherlands but seems to me in the mobile environment I use to do better with other radios teamed up with my KL-203 P. Might be time to experiment some more. The never ending Saga ! LOL

Just made contact with California and Hawaii. How did I get Hawaii with my Sirio 4 element pointed at the Northwest Corner? I don't know, probably my excellent operating skills...:ROFLMAO:
I got Hawaii today. He sounded like he was crusing through my neighborhood. I had a handful of contacts stateside as well, then I had a great qso with @Greg T. I was listening to USB 555 when he came booming in and sounding top shelf. Thanks Greg! You've got a hell of a nice station.

Thank you, Brother!! You were sounding mighty tall, yourself until conditions pulled you away. It was quite a surprise to hear you up there. It takes a strong signal to break that noise level I'm dealing with. We'll do it again, my friend!!

Decided to make a country run North of me this morning so I put the K40 on the roof of my Expedition and installed my McKinley with my KL-200 P. Conditions weren't that good in the beginning but on the way home they seem to pick up a little. I managed to make a contact with 307 in Wyoming so it lifted the spirits a little especially because I think that was my first ever for Wyoming. But the solar site said poor for 10-12 meter the same as the last 4 days. I guess I should run to the radio room and try the old StarDuster. Pardon my mistake I said RUN when I should have said HOBBLE & WOBBLE ! LOL
