    Just getting back into 2-way radio after a 35-year absence. CB seems to have died in the Fraser Valley in this time.

    Hey! There are still some folks on sideband in the Fraser Valley, but it's a shadow of what it was 35 years ago! I'm up on Cortes Island and I have maybe 6 or 7 locals within sideband range of me (80 miles or so). AM CB up here died totally and completely in the very early 2000's.

    This is Radioman 260 from 26.805FM here is an MP3 of our conversation. That harsh rumbling sound unfortunately I cannot do anything about. That is the romper room on Ch 6 AM splashing the heck out of me. If I also have paper QSL cards if you are interested.
