I'm not really familiar with quad 5 n2, does it have the booster board and do 100+ watts out of the box? If it does, then it's probably the same platform.

Well, resistor plugs and wires became standard equipment and the mid to late 60s, and with the Advent of all the electronic equipment, breakerless ignitions and computers, you will not find a vehicle without resistor plugs and wires.
Resistor wires and plugs have been standard equipment on cars for many decades. Unless the resistors are going bad, there is no need to replace them ... or if it needs a tune-up anyway. Antenna too close to the engine bay? Power wires running near the distributor or coil? Diagnose before...
I can go from 26.200 to 28.100 and be at 1.3:1 on both ends. Never checked resonance cuz I won't buy an analyzer I'll use once. When they start making one that costs about 40 bux I'll grab one. LOL But now that I noticed this and passed it around to the locals, they concur.
