    New Stryker SR-955HPC+

The main "upgrade" for the 955 is the booster board which volts the hell out of the finals. I've had one of these for a few months now and have put it through it's paces. I find the radio talks well, has great audio quality and is easy to adjust. But, there is something I don't understand about...

    New Stryker SR-955HPC+

I'm not really familiar with quad 5 n2, does it have the booster board and do 100+ watts out of the box? If it does, then it's probably the same platform.

    Texas Star Amplifiers

You'll have no issues with purchasing from Ranch55. I've dealt with him directly and you'll be hard pressed to find a more honest guy. I have seen his work and it is not only solid, it's impeccably neat and tidy. My piece is still running strong, clean and cool.

    Ignition noise.

Well, resistor plugs and wires became standard equipment and the mid to late 60s, and with the Advent of all the electronic equipment, breakerless ignitions and computers, you will not find a vehicle without resistor plugs and wires.

    Ignition noise.

Resistor wires and plugs have been standard equipment on cars for many decades. Unless the resistors are going bad, there is no need to replace them ... or if it needs a tune-up anyway. Antenna too close to the engine bay? Power wires running near the distributor or coil? Diagnose before...

    Reclaim LSB 16

I can go from 26.200 to 28.100 and be at 1.3:1 on both ends. Never checked resonance cuz I won't buy an analyzer I'll use once. When they start making one that costs about 40 bux I'll grab one. LOL But now that I noticed this and passed it around to the locals, they concur.

Yet another "weird question" on a 102" whip issue...

I gripped mine in a vise, heated it up and peened it over (mushroomed it) so it would grip the little slot in the nylon holder.
