optional AM, which is crazy, I mean it is bad enough you cannot avoid contest weekends by going to 12 meter, but now, no 80 meter rag...

Strange coincidence on two TS-2000's mine and a friend 20 miles away
Both TS-2000's had an intermittent problem. THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM!
The radio would work fine then all of a sudden, it would stop TX and RX.
Display worked fine, it continued to switch bands, frequencies and everything...
One of my friends had a 148F and I have wanted one ever since.
The ones I find are molested more than Chester,,,,,
$355? I wouldn't spend that much.
But I would be interested in a clean one
One thing I would like to mention is that I am disappointed that they are coming out with the amplifier before the VHF module.
I mean, the radio is a QRP radio. If you want a 100 watt radio, why not get the K3?
The K3 is a full size radio with a basic 10 watt model, upgradable to the 100...

Take note of all your settings in the Service Menu before shipping it to Yaesu.
You can always review the settings after Yaesu aligns the radio to see "how close you are"
Myself, if the radio is receiving and transmitting fine and not overheating, I would hold off on sending it back, again...

To get them turn transceiver off. Press and hold the A,B,C keys; while holding them in, press and hold in the [PWR] switch for 1/2...
