Agood fairly inexpensive screwdriver antenna is the ATAS 120A. It's cheap compared to say HiQ or High Sierra. The diamond 400c is a great mount for it and it will mount nicely to your rear hatch, fully adjustable and if you drill a hole and set the screw it is most times enough groung to work...

Maybe some rubber washers between the radio and the mount?

I would like to know more about the bag mount or maybe some kind of shock mounts. I am open for suggestions. If someone feels the need or sees something they think might not work or work better. Let me know. I am not to big to change my setup around for the purpose of bettering it.

I was listening to a guy yesterday using a 7000 with a Heil PR20 and three band EQ. I must say his audio was much better with the 7000 than his 756 PROIII. I was quite amazed at the audio from such a small radio.
