Elevation is interesting to me. Driving around the country watching a gps with elevation showing. I'm around 1025 with hills on more than half way around me, 1400 to 1500+ and it rough getting out over that side. I get it! Edit: the other direction my signal scoots normal, a lot better.

I got back home and turned the radio on. Heard another 417 in Missouri ( wait that's my numbers and 10-20: I'm 417 in MO). I'm guessing alot of us have similar things going on. Meanwhile I talked to Jamaica while on the same 37LSB and the other 417 was in there too, haha

I heard someone probably 15 minutes ago that would make it 4:45ish. I had to do a couple of little things on the computer with my non-dominant arm because the other one is in a sling from shoulder replacement. Could get to the radio.

That's great and it is proof , we can enjoy on all kinds of gear. I e got an emergency hand held walkie-talkie type kit in a box with an antenna. Haven't messed with it in years but several years ago I actually talk from a pickup on the hill to about 20 or 30 + - miles through the woods to a local.

I don't know what kind of four pill I would get but I'm keeping watch on this thread. I did hear an old boy talking skip yesterday on a four pill fat boy pushing 78 watts into it so he said. I don't know what kind of radio it was but it sure sounded choice.
