So i have a blue"palomar" skipper 2 transistor amp that is very low on output.
Starting on low.med, high to max it goes from 10w to 20,30,40 and max out about 50w.
When testing it SWR was good and it did not get unusually hot, and both transistors got warm.
At first i thought maybe one of the two...
It is used in the Tan and Brown versions of the Raider/RDX75 and the tan and brown Mavrick/MDX200 Its is used for al of the relays in them. The old gray ones used the 117v ac versions but the later ones do use these. The original part number is P&B 14ay 12v a/c coils. Both of my brown and tans...
Hello.
I am looking to replace a hard to find relay. The correct relay is a Potter & Brumfield KA14AY Relay 12volt a/c.
The problem is hey are crazy expensive. However i can find a Ka14ay 6volt a/c version so my question is can i just put a

I spent my first 19 years in the SFV and grew up listening to the nightly games on KFI640, On my little blue Admiral tube radio. Vin was the man along with Farmer John hot dogs, Walter Alston, Wes Parker, Don Drysdale, Jim Lefebvre And so so many more of my childhood hero's. What a sad sad day.

So i noticed i had a 1/2watt 47k in it, so i thought i would swap it out for a 1/4watt 33k as i was out of 47k's and it seems
to work fine. Is there any reason that it is a...
You sir have a vast goldmine of information, If you ever decide to put it all together
into a Zipped file or a notebook you could rise to the top of Mt. Olympus!
Thats almost funny! Please do not belive some of the stuff you read on ebay,'Even more from people trying to sell things. 100 watts sounds about right drive it with 30 and bad things will happen.
Hello.
In my stack of old antennas i believe i have a old big stick. The bottom section is 121.5 inches and top is a 102 inches.
For a total of 18.625 feet. Is this correct?
Well there was 2 caps that got so hot they melted the solder and fell off.
They are ok test wise, I just wanted a find a schematic for it or one that is
using the same design. It looks like one i have seen before but I do not have to have it as its pretty much a simple design. I just like to...
