    Galaxy DX-2547 Parts

True, but where to get one. I figured it was 10.7 MHz because of where it is in the circuit. Should be easy to sub something in there if need be.

More importantly, is not Ohms, but inductance and capacitance. It is most likely a 10.7 MHz coil. You could experiment, if you cant find one from a Ranger/Galaxy parts house or a parts donor radio.

    BACKWOODS RF Freq Counter Hookup

The one here is a 6 digit counter, using TP8. Pin 11 of PLL does not work on this unit. It is not clear if the SSB offset has been compensated for or not. Thanks, SL

    BACKWOODS RF Freq Counter Hookup

It doesn't display nonsense. But, what I read from your previous posts, the 858 display, does not change with clarifier, when this one does. It does not reflect SSB offset correctly and I think your posts allude that it should There are two pins under the 4 pin header that have nothing...

    WTB: CPI with dead EPROM

This was from a new user, who said a third party had what I was looking for. I was told to email scottblacke88@gmail.com. A google search turned up some posts from a different forum, where they responded to WTB posts with that gmail address. Beware WWDX'ers.....the scammers are lurking here...

    attenuator for 7300

If you are thinking about a power attenuator in the TX path, you will also attenuate the RX path, if you don't have a switch, to bypass the attenuator in RX. This is assuming, you are investigating the use of an external power attenuator, between a transceiver and external amplifier.

Bias Class B vs AB When Using HG2879

I have noticed that some amps I have seen lately are class B, rather than AB. I am wondering why and what others have seen, when biasing class AB in a HG2879 box. Rumor has it, that when running AB in a HG2879 box, there is a high probability of self oscillation. I am wondering what truth there...
