502 in a mobile was putting a good signal all the way down into B.C., Washington, NV, S. Cal. It was a short qso for me. I heard him tell a guy in NV that he was hitting the 3k mark - which I believe to be true, for I did talk to him one day last week.
A "normal" station (lol) couldn't do that...
Oh don't worry Flying J, with 5 element and 100 watt radio, you won't have a problem getting to the west coast....unless maybe you are 100' below sea level or calling from Europe or Asia!
Well now that is something that I never thought to ask him about QSLing. But I will probably have to ask him next year.

You could load the BB's...

Back in 90's I bought a case of 5,000 rds of PMC in 22 LR and they all worked very well.
Sold half of them to customers and no reports of miss fires ever came back.
Remington Brass? I am like WCSOG, I really hated their 22-250 brass for loading, to soft and light weight. But, their 270/'06/7mm mag brass was good and never had any problems with it. Winchester brass is all I every used for the 22-250.
If I was to buy just factory ammo now days for rifle &...
The only Remington shells that I have bought in the last 20 yrs or so, have been just their high performance 12 shotgun shells. These were great for the long shots on coyotes, but sadly they stop making them a year or so later, probably because of the price - $31.30 a box of 10! That's $3.13 ea...
