Marconi Not sure what it is to tell you the truth the old guy told me it was a Signal Engineering reason why I say that is the element supports are the same as the lighting the way they come through the boom ....but will look up the CubeX and see . Murray

Hi Dennis , I will have to wait a while it is still under about three feet of snow up at the lake ...everything from what I can see it the same except the matching network signal engineering used a length of rg/59 as a matching network ...I think . But will post some pictures when I can get at...

Thanks for posting the manual Dennis , I guess I gave a lighting 6 but it is a Signal Engineering older, boom the same ,elements the same , matching system not the same . Murray

To answer your question no I have a five element up and thinking on putting the 6 up they are not the best built quad`s I have seen but will out talk a yagi any day .

I pulled one down last year ..thinking on changing it over to a Big Gun II never should have sold my PDL II.

Hey Captain , Took the time last nite to look the transformer over and no numbers but on top have looked online all I can tell you is it is in the 100 lb range . Still will get a pic posted once I figure out how, am looking for a 220 variac !!! . Hope all is well on the east coast ...no snow...

Hello , I picked an transformer up for next to nothing , have no info on it or can find any . On the tag , Best .TRW-0427k , Johnson Electric coil , Tank cap.75 uf got that figured out . on it goes 10969305-105 , TIS 200 , Thanks Murray I wish ppl would tag stuff when pulling it apart !!.

Well thanx to all the reply`s and in put , I have talked with someone in the past that had three A99`s up and they where happy with them so I am going to give it a try and with the in put ppl have add`d it will help . It`s that time of year to get the outside projects done .
