Motorola 555 ssb base tx issue

Sure is looking more and more like Motorola may not have designed these well in the TX section... I'm experiencing more of this now myself. After having my base recapped and aligned by Mike's Radio Repair some years back and had DDS installed, thinking it was gonna be an excellent combination...

My 10k button on mine doesn't work right, does wrong digit. Hoping by programming option through cable to PC will have a solution. Already reset it, didn't help. Has anybody else got this issue? Also hoping to use the different colors the software offers hopefully. 73, Retro

Yeah the Channel King board is no longer produced but works beautifully and I own a couple. Mark did a knock up job beyond anything I would have ever expected. 73

    maxlog M8900

Yeah I wrote them an email yesterday in fact. Looking for another set of knobs for my Maxlog 8800, which I assume is same fit for Magnum 1 radio. Also asked about back lighting option in software which gives several colors to pick from, as I can't find anyone talking about that so far much. I...

    maxlog M8900

Yes I'm aware of that, but unless this person has passed on or no longer logs in here, I see no reason to not be able to have a conversation. Maxlog 8800 is near identical to Magnum 1 radio though. 73's
