I have one of the of the newer red road devils and it is a decent mic. I alternate between using the RD104E and the D104M6B on the base. The RD104E picks up less background noise than the D104M6B.

I use AVG 2013 the free edition and have had no problems with the site.

Dude you need to run get that one for $ 75.00. That is a heck of a deal. Depending on the drive you put into it you should see 350 to 400 out. I would hit it with about a 2 watt dead key and let it swing. I wish I could come across a deal like that!!!! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

D104M6B is what I use. I am very happy with the performance. I am using a Galaxy DX-949 and I run the mic gain at 3 o'clock and the gain on the mic itself on 2. I mainly talk SSB, these setting seem to sound the best from what I have been told.

I enjoyed the show as well. It will be interesting to see where it goes.

Morning Oatmeal I did talk to Missouri and Tennessee yesterday afternoon. Yes, I do just about all my DXing on 38lsb.

I did talk to 342 in Michigan this morning. He was the only one I was able to hear. He told me there were a couple of stations coming back to me but I never heard them.

I wish it would open up here. It has been quite since the first of the month.

Okay Guys I have another question. Have all the D104M6 mics had the switch problem or is it just the newer ones? Is there a way to look at the mic and tell if it will have the problem if not all of them have it? Thanks again for all your responses.
