After recently searching to buy some Belden Coax for a new amatuer radio antenna project, I feel compelled to warn others on some of my rather surprising results. Being that my father-in-law spent many a year making this quality cable, I have managed to become very familiar with the Belden line...
I payed 300 with shipping for mine...
but had to shop it for free (shipping only) for a new freq and channel display...asked them to add new finals along with a couple of resistors for freq controller and got that with no problem free...
off a dude out there don't know if it was a shop or not...
well all the ones I worked on ,It went like this the top 2 Left,Right were for AC and the middle 2 were dc looking at the back of the radio left + right -(2 on the bottom left ,right were just holders... )....you can find a shaver plug and file down the side a bit to make it fit .or and old...
sb220 running on 220v and if you drive it with 100 watts in you have that sucker for 100's of years :) I drive mine with 100 swinging 160 for a nice blast...
the only thing i found out on this linear is the tuning knob is touchy
but take your time and you don't have to worry about tuning it...

is the variable output working? don't know why someone would clip it as it has a modulation vol in the echo board and stock mic for audio....

erm, this topic wasn't to disturb you on owning a magnum :P most my radios are galaxy's but i do own a magnum S9 and M1
but for my main home base and mobile I run the galaxy's.
some people have a bad experience with customer care ,weather they can't explain stuff right or...
did you convert this radio, by removing the 4 resistors on the bottom side of the board ? if you did check around them points for a cold solder or if it was soldered to a spot where a part was on the top section of the board it might have shaken loose..
sounds like the CPU ain't resetting...
