In my case, I was willing to pay more for the durability of steel. I didn't buy it to have just in case, but to use on a regular basis. Even when percussion caps have been available during the last several years, they have been way more expensive than I'm willing to pay. In my opinion $60 or $75...
I don't doubt they're strong enough. I just worry that they will eventually fatigue and break. I would however like to find the files so I can print my own. That way when it breaks I can just print a new one.
Are you the seller?
They cost less than others on the market, and I like the fact that they have a musket cap maker as well as No. 10 and 11. But they are 3d printed plastic, and I have doubts as to how well they will hold up.
This is awesome! Thanks for posting it. Even though they've only been around a few years, it reminds me of discovering in the late '70s an old psychedelic album, on vinyl, from a band I had never heard of before.

My Sirio GPE-27 won't cover from the bottom of 11 to the top of 10 with a low swr, but I tuned it for minimum swr at around 27.5 and it allows me to operate all of the cb channels and up to 28.500 (the upper end of the most used ssb part of 10) with a reasonable swr. I would have to retune if I...
Sirio also makes a copy of the Starduster, and it's under $100 and free shipping from Walmart: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Sirio-StarDuster-M-400-26-5-30Mhz-Tunable-CB-10M-Base-Antenna/175463062
I think they're made in Italy, too. Not China.
