Set dead key down to 5 watts on Seeker. Seeker modulates to 75+ Watts when talking. It was dead key on 30 watts modulating over 100. Lower I think is better. Gotta check out ebay for some 8417 tube prices. Using on Gemtronics. Only good for AM. No SSB. See pics

Messed up NOW by Hurricane Sandy but get dsl sometimes. Found more info as that amp arrived. It uses four 12GB3 TUBES. Maybe that helps and its made by Mini-Max Xeron. See the pics and maybe someone can tell me something about this 550watt amp. Thanks Ron
