Allow me... I have the same model, though it's not optimally mounted for transmit. It does a hell of a job listening from 2M -1.2Ghz on an SDR Dongle, but my radials are just about a foot above the peak of the roof, mounted on a steel mast which probably isn't helping the SWR numbers below...

Were they serving supper at suppercross? I only ask because it's just hot dogs and the usual stadium food at Supercross.

Agreed... The 2m/440 mix is getting out of control. People interject while someone else is talking, just because they can. Worse yet it a QSO going back and forth with one on 2m and one on 440, neither ever letting off the PTT. Pick up the friggen phone if you want to have that kind of...

Looks an awful lot like the $25 MFJ dual bander I've got on my HT/Car at the moment. The whip extends 16" out of the coupling nut. Works "okay" as a temporary set up until I get a V71 and Comet 2X4 installed. SWR's under 1:5 on 2m and under 2:1 on 440.
