    Still very seriously considering a Flex-3000

    I am very happy with my Kenwood 480HX. But, if I were to go for a new radio, it would be a Flex. The whole concept of that radio fascinates me.

    Makes me wonder...

    I have the HX model. The exteral pep watt meter I use shows 200 watts easy. The meter in the radio shows avg as said above. I use an exteranl tuner so I opted for the extra power. Great radios BTW. http://www.worldwidedx.com/members/lazybones1222-albums-my-shack-picture415-480.jpg
