Ya know I'm a dedicated CBer and would like an honest answer from KA5ROW as to what's the big deal about selling CB equipment at hamfest? Cb Radios are a form of radio communications just as is amatuer radio.

Sounds like a good time to junk the whole radio hobby...between the power freaks on 11 meters and the rude self-important pricks on the ham bands radio is not as optionally fun as it used to be. Even the forums are becoming self centered.:angry:

It really doesn't make any difference how good or how how many technical standards that a man has, if he doesn't take of business what good is he.

I guess what I'm wanting to maybe do is to shorten the straight length and make a "J" out of the ends say like 6 ft straight and "J" the remaining 3ft on each end. This would use PVC tubeing with a wire inside. In this configuation it would take up less height if it would work.
