Alot might laugh but I have a 95T that is quite possibly the best radio I have owned. Its better than my Lincoln, S-9 and 148....Rock solid on SSB and a real screamer on AM
Ground, stray wire in the mic....Could be a number of things. Mine did the same thing to me and I know where you are coming from. They pack a wallop...Mine turned out to be a bad ground
Looks can be decieving. I was told by Walcott cb that it was NOT the same board as the magnum. I know there are changes but is it the same board or not?
Some Galaxies yes......The 95T and 93T are awsome on SSB they arent your regular run of the mill Galaxy. Like I said alot of the local hammies cant tell the differance between my DX-70 and my 95T. Its very stable and sound great on SSB
Yea I copy the mail.......You said "Blah,Blah,Blah,Blah....." Code is LONG gone my friend.....If I had no voice box I might consider using it but since I can speak just fine I will just say what I have to say. Im QRT and soon to be a general........
Yea my apologies too fellas.....Sorry for the hi-jack
Id hang on to that 148.....They are a rare find these days in "unhacked" form. If you do decide to sell it, from your description, id say $100 to $125
As far as heavy loads go you would have to add axles to gain more capacity. The spread axle on the trailer is an exception....You can go up to 20 ton on a trailer with a spread where as one without you can only legally axle 17 ton
Also alot of stretched trucks pull flatbeds and haul loooong steel. It hangs way over the front of the trailer in some cases. I agree with Santa too......Thats a sweet ride
Personally only buy from Larry at The Quackshack
He is honest, has very competative prices and his customer service is second to none. You can call them and most of the time you get him on the phone. He is good people and these days, they are hard to find
The best thing you can do is go to www.qrz.com and take the practice tests. Keep taking them untill you feel comfortable and then go take the test. Its no sweat. Im a tech waiting on the code to be dropped then I will take the general again. I already passed it once but my year expired........
When I am in my pickup CB is a hobby 100%. When I am in my big truck it is an integral part of my job and I rely on it for communications while on the road. I take both my hobbies and my job seriously and dont want to waste money on a hack tune up when you could get it done right the first time...
