So if i have this right i would RX on 7.095 ,(which i thought was way out of phone band even for an extra) moving along here ..........and TX on 7.228 or above. Do i have this right?

Today was suppose to be the day a U.S. SM-3 missile was to be luanched in a attempt to shoot down a wayward spy satellite. The mission hasn't been scrubed yet but do to high seas in the north pacific they may wait until tommorrow or better weather which ever comes first. :unsure:Heads up

I can now check off 17 meters as being in the log. I will keep trying on 10 meters although it's been real dead here. Maybe i'll try 20m as well,thats like shooting fish in a barrel:). I'v read that there are lots of new DXpeditions coming.............rare and exotic DX. How many here have tried...

I have never used a kenwood ts-2000 so i dont have any kind of review but maybe i can still add to your thread.
Since you already have a Yeasu ft-847 which is a DC through daylight,satellite ready rig and the ts-2000 is basically the same thing with a few more options why dont you...

I did it!!! I have now worked VP6DX DXpedition from Dicie Island. I tried saturday with no luck due to the fact they were running split:huh:,once i figured that out i gave it a try on sunday mid morning and he came back to me on my third try with a 5/9 report.

I have Ham Radio Deluxe.It has CAT control,it's FREE. It takes a little bit of getting use. I have tried several free loggin software and didn't like any of them until i was told about Ham Radio Deluxe. Your opinion may vary.
It has good reviews from eham,try it what have you got to lose:)...
