That's pretty low,,,,,,,,,I think if a license ham is proven gulty of doing something like or selling broken radios etc. that they should loose there license.

O' yes it will help a lot, but don't you mean connecting a so-239 to that piece of coax so you can plug the antenna into it? I say it may help, because unless you ground your station to commercial standards (not many do) lighting can do anything it wants.

Bingo ! Put another mic on it and back to normal. If the audio was cutting out with no signal thrength I could understand it being the mic. but instead the audio would cut out along with the S meter dropping to O. Anyway it's working now, Thanks again. 73

I have a cobra 25 that has been in the shack using a A99 for about a year and a half. When it's on the receive cuts in and out like a bad antenna connection, but when you key and un-key the mic it works fine for a few minutes then starts it again. The SWR are good. I have seen this before with...
