By the dimensions on the label, it would fit on a CUCV pretty nice, 48 7/8 inch wide at the bottom would fit most full size pickup boxes, you wouldn't need a deuce and a half for it to fit
I wouldn't use that repeater and advise the owner that it may not be legal by means other than the repeater.
[97.205(a)]. 2) Repeaters may operate on any frequency authorized to the Amateur Radio Service above 29.5 MHz except for 50.0 - 51.0, 144.0 - 144.5, 145.5 - 146.0, 222.0 - 222.15...
If the Kenwood mic will work on the TH-D72 or TH-F6 it will work on the Wouxun, but any of the programmable buttons like those on the SMC-33 will have no function on the Wouxun
The missing antenna was disappointing, but considering it's only going to be up there for about 6 months and I think the primary mission was to monitor vacuum levels on its way back down. I did see one report that the transponder was working on the Amsat-BB but it was only one report, so unless...
Orbitron, Nova, satpc32, and there is a web site where you can enter your grid square and have it generate pass predictions AMSAT - AMSAT Online Satellite Pass Predictions
It's too bad that some people think they need to lie about their past, but it happens a lot and its not something that just happened recently either. How many claimed to be firefighters from New York after 911?
I have no problem with my short military service, a 6x2 in the National Guard as a...
But now there is not a sat out there that you can't work with portable equipment and a handheld antenna, FM sats anyone can do, linear while portable check out WD9EWK's videos on youtube. There is no possible single satellite that could cover the world in operation today. If anyone wants to...
I like the diamond 77cha antennas, they work very well for a dual band ht but you will need an adapter for any of them to work on the Wouxun if they still have the male SMA connector.
Now the manual would have told you that if they had someone that knows English write it instead of using google translate.
It says right on the box for my uvd1p, speedy switch on work mode A/B + TDR
Not a good translation of what it does
Aren't these FCC accepted part 90(?) radios? I actually bought one from Hong Kong and used the program you uploaded to the site to unlock the UVD1P to restrict it only to the US amateur bands, here is the post you uploaded the unlock program to...
I bought an interface from Johnny last year, it works very well. I didn't even have issues when I switched to a PC with Win7, I figured I might have an issue with the USB/Com port.
136 - 174 mhz & 350 - 470 mhz
136 - 174 mhz & 420 - 520 mhz
Order a wouxun from wouxun.us that uses either of the frequency pairs above since you have no 220 repeaters, and by ordering from wouxun.us the frequencies will be locked so that you can't transmit outside the amateur bands for the US...
Download from the radio and save as a .hmk file, and save your K5EHX as a .hmk file and use excel to copy/paste the two files together. You could even use notepad but you have to manually change the memory number.
I just tried it using notepad and it worked, excel should work but might be a...
I tried to add an equal to my callsign in the software and it won't even show on the screen, doesn't work in a digipath either
But you can store messages in the TH-D72 with the software and the = seems to work
