    I had a fuse blow on one of my old Suzukis once. An old fella stopped to help and gave me some foil paper from his cigarette pack and wrapped the fuse. I wonder what the foil paper is rated?

    Direct Injecting is bypassing the audio chain, no limiters or filters. Just have to be careful with the setup because you can over modulate.     I bought an SM58, EQ and Preamp dirt cheap last year and planned on hooking it up to my 2k. I will do the direct inject when I get time to mess it. I can't wait to move so I can put up a homemade moxon or beam. Glad it's working for you! Chris

    Precision Grinding, started grinding before I graduated. I prefer running cutter grinders but run 3 surface grinders, manual, automatic and CNC. Have a nice tilt head No.2 Cincinnati with tooling in the garage wired up.

    I have 2 switches, 1 has 1 radio in and 3 antenna outs and the other has 3 radios in and 1 antenna out. Gives me plenty of options...

    Turner + 2 mic wiring

    The D104 that came with my 2k had a wire run outside from the mic stand to connector at the mic jack. I think the guy said it squealed and a tech added the wire to stop the squeal.

    I have a gray 600 I ran mobile also, it is a 1X4 SD1446's. I wasn't sure if it is AB biased so I pulled it out since I have been using SSB a lot. I'm going to pull the driver stage and run it as a straight 4 and add AB bias if it doesn't already have it.

    Glad you got it going. Probably the same as my Shooting Star 225, has 2 MRF455's. I took it out and running a Pres. Jackson barefoot now. Yesterday 6-6:30 heard and talked to 599 Sao Paulo Brazil on about 20 watts, 27.575USB. Happy DXing Chris

    Alignment Question - Problem

    My Cobra 2k has the same problem but I don't have a scope just the freq counter. I have the L59 bottomed out still just short. I am going to change caps and follow the circuit also.
