    it's not divided, he part in the middle is slightly smaller diameter aluminium, so it electrically joins the 2 halves

    Anyways I built this little beauty today... the analyzer shows 2 reactance and 0 ohms at 51Mhz no matter how I adjust the gamma match the result is the same the gamma match is built out of some old RG8 (the big stuff not the mini),heat shrink tubing (over the RG8 foam) and some tubing...

    Pyramid Power supply JUNK

    google MEGA WATT power supply there is a guy out of CA that sells 36 amp (@ 90% duty cycle) power supplies... keep in mind most power supplies you buy in this hobby are rated for 50% duty cycle.. I think I bought 2 of them for only $120 shipped

    hammarlund hq-129x hum in audio & weak receive

    Just got a hammarlund hq-129x last night... it's not doing so well Broadcast band seems to receive well. 160m is fine... sounds fine on 80m But much above 40m and it starts to go deaf... infact all I can hear around 10m is what sounds like fm broadcast radio... which is weak...
