Yep,she works great and looks as new accept for the DC Port boot. The original Ni-Cad went shortly after I got it,but I got some Ni-MH's at a great price on Fleabey to replace it with and they work great and last much longer! Got 2 of them for the less than the price of 1 Ni-Cad shipping...

Sounds like the little "choke" on pin-6 (13.8VDC) got popped! Since the stock mic is powered via pin-6,That's my best bet. You can add your own seperate choke from the power on side of the OFF/ON switch thru a wire to pin-6 and you'll probably have your modulation back.I forget what value...
