Was checking out the morgan d 1-104 and ended up buying the mini d 104 that dude had. i didnt buy the mini night eagle but the little gray base d 104 with the silver head. i got 2 other custom chopped down d 104 mics so i had to add to the collection. :)

Thats a bone stock 2510 and i tuned it to do about 4 watts dead key and swings to 20 or so watts. theres a 4 position variable power knob on the amp.

I got a alpha delta (delta-4) antenna switch and all 4 positions work good. the center postition is a arc plug. i use mine backward to run more radios to one antenna though. maybe some body run to much power through the one you got. i think there rated for 1500 or 2000 watts.

I got a friend who has a older bearcat/uniden BE-760XLT scanner and he took the memory battery out awhile back and cant remember the voltage of it. it is a solder in type battry for the freq. storage. thanx.

your probably right dxman. im using rg213jumpers and rg8u coax. im gonna upgrade here one of these days and try the lmr-400 coax. my satilite dish sits off to the side of the imax 2000. i need to get it up higher. it sits just above the peak of a 2 story house.

DXman, i bought a 2970N2 and was really surprized at what a amp hog that thing is. on AM it sucks about 20-22 amps at 300 watts pep. on SSB, that thing is sucking right at 50 or so amps at 290-300 watts. i was surprised since its 300 watts. my texas star dx500v amp is the same way, it will draw...

hey capt., if the uniden grant is in good shape and works, id buy it for sure. they were one of the best cbs made. course alot of them got hacked up to. if it works for 40$ you cant go wrong. whats cb all about ??? well, just hook up your radio and find out. its a little of every thing.
