UPDATE: I talked a good bit today and had ZERO reports of my amp sizzling. I asked several people who I talk to regularly and they said it's clear as a bell. Maybe the dark cloud is passed over but I feel like I'm not out of the woods yet.

It's done the same amount of watts since I've had it. The variable knob has been bypassed so the variable controls the fan.

The sizzling sound is there when I key up, then when I modulate my voice sounds gravelly and staticy.

UPDATE: I won't be able to post pics of inside the box. But I did take the top off the amp. Around the pills, there was brownish coke looking liquid around them. What causes this? Just the pills breaking down? Just breaking in? But no I don't have another box to hook up. I remember a few months...
