Definitely get a SSB radio. Most of my talking is/was done on SSB. I only talk AM with my brother, as he is 5 miles away now.

I didn't goto one of the parks to operate. It was still raining too hard for me. I did however give 14 of the diehard operators another number in their log. It was fun actually hearing so many operators here in Ohio on the air. I only operated on 75/80m. Mebbe next year band conditions will be...

Glad you are back to normal. Normal can be relative though. Isn't it amazing what the human body can go through and still function. I'm also glad there was no permanent damage. Take it easy, and hope to hear ya on the air someday.
