I dont have any RF issues any longer as I grounded everything to a ground bar. I also added lots of snap on ferrites to the audio cables coming from the Flex, that seems to have cured all my RF issues. You need to keep the rack gear as far away from the radio as possible.

I dont think you could afford me :) .. The mast is Schedule 40 Pipe 1 1/4 ID. Pretty heavy duty, the first piece I tried 1 1/2" ID was too big in diameter to fit through the pipe in the top of the tower. It was pretty tough getting the pipe inside the tower, lets just say it was a pretty good...

Well Change 23, I found a used rotor tray for the tower and have disassembled everything. The Satellite array will be on the very top and the beam about 4' below it. No Gin pole requires a bucket truck to make it easy and he wasn't suppose to come till Tuesday so I redesigned the whole thing...

For right now this is the easiest way to do it as I don't have a rotor tray on the tower or a 20' mast. If I had the expendable extra funds I would go that route. I will most likely change everything in the spring and swap stuff around. The Tray, thrust bearing and mast will cost between $350...

Geez I feel inadequate looking at those big towers and beams. I'm looking at the new Mosley Mini Mono Beam for 20m. My main antenna right now is a 75m loop about 25 ft up.. It works pretty well on 20 and 40 with the tuner ..
