something seems a bit fishy there, my guess would be that coldfront is clueless about the radios and his supplier was setting them up for freeband.
coldfront may have switched suppliers and not able to freeband the mk3's himself.
let know how it goes with the local forum sale, I'll help out...
my mk3 came with the jumper in place for 11 meter.
Should you buy one and it's not 11 meter capable, putting the jumper on the correct connectors is very easy. I'll send you pics if you choose.
so where do I go for High quality clubs?
I only want to buy 1 set once. I want them fitted correctly for his 6'3" height .
we have golfsmith golf galaxy and pga pro tour shop near.
Is it hit and miss depending on experience of staff or are they all trained by pros??
thanks
for your help
I bought mine from brltest. It was certified by them to be in spec. It's handy to have a certified piece of equipment, you can check the accuracy of other with it.
If you make them a reasonable offer, it will be accepted.
good luck...
The thread below chronicles my experience. Adding about .25 mhz to moxgen will get you closer to expected values on the first attempt.
feel free to ask any questions, we're glad to help.
