maybe there was a run of these that had this issue? i have owned 3 of these and 1 was 2 months old when i got it. its not a real big deal.sometimes you push and nothing happens or it doubles. most of the time its fine.probably improper debouncing.

have a 100w unit in good condition 250.00 +shipping. i have been using on 10m and nothing but good reports. has stock mic,bracket and thumbscrews,power cable with powerpole installed. has the touchy buttons issue that every one of these i have seen has.not bad but worth mentioning.

just got a amp in a auction that has the styling of a firebird but a 10-80m bandswitch and runs a pair of 4cx250's. looks like a nameplate used to be across the bottom of the face due to the glue residue there now.it isnt pretty but i dont see anything that will stop me from fixing it up...

8908's 6lw6 if you rewire the heaters in pairs as 8908 has 12v heater.

just put in a panel mount power pole. i have an ar-3500 i use on 10m and thats one improvement i will be making.connector gets hot on fm tx. what were they smoking when they designed that? fine for a low power cb but not a 100w rig.
