Quick dumb question, I can only hear Skip/DX in daylight hours....is that normal? I know Nature gives and takes the optimal conditions for skip but...havn't been able to find this answer around on the net.:blink:

Obviosly an amp would be advertised as being class C or AB1 biasing,... but which radios are? Or would all Exports be AB1 biasing? AM/SSB is a must. FM would be great but not required. Price range would be under $500...
What is the CLEANEST, easiest, most efficient way to push 60+ watts from a mobile? AMP or EXPORT? Good amp or Export recomendations?

So what is the "correct" way to use RF ferrite chokes? Is there a wrong way to use them? Can I damage anything by just experimenting and using them in different places on the mobile? Any disadvantages?

So I have a large HVAC unit on top of my house. How effective could it be to put a magnet mount moble type antenna on top of that big square box?? If so, Would I need to use a different coax since the length would be much longer?
