    Ebay

We are talking about a 949 here folks. No question about it, the radio is legal no matter how you look at it. That is why I asked for information about people getting email regarding CB radios, not 10 meter Amateurs.

    Ebay

I threatened to sue them before, and we agreed not to sue if they removed the list. If they put it back up, then I my client is going to really be mad about it. All CBs can transmit out of the 40 channels if you make enough changes. You got something in writing from ebay saying certified...

    Ebay

Come on, someone has to have an email or writing from Ebay where they say the radios are illegal. I need written evidence to bring the lawsuit.

    Ebay

I am pretty sure this is going to work based on past experience with ebay. So if anyone got an email or letter saying their CB is illegal and their ad is pulled, I want to know about it.

Anyone who tried to sell a certified CB on ebay and got the ad pulled because of a claim the radio was illegal, let me know. Looking to sue ebay for this crap.

    New Ranger

In California, if you use your cell phone while driving you get a ticket. So everyone needs some type of Bluetooth device. I have one on my visor I got at Costco (don't like the kind that stick in your ear). Was wondering where all the noise was coming from on my CB. Turns out it is from the...

Don't know. They hired an engineer to design it. Here's a picture of one. Supposedly several different designs. Mine was shipped today by UPS so should have it by the weekend

Ranger out with a new line of antennas called the Road Ranger. Shipments left the docks on the 2nd. Looking to get one for testing in a few days.

    Where's the beef?

Seems like there should still be some traffic if it is a problem.

    Where's the beef?

For the last two weeks I have been testing out the new Connex 3400HP (some nice new features, same board as the Connex base station). Listening to the freeband and Amateur frequencies, (using both the modified and unmodified versions of the radio) I hear exactly one call in 40 hours of...

    Magnum OmegaForce S-45 HP Review

Robb, just to follow up on this. You were right that it is a display. Problem is that I have the new version which is not on the market yet, and that one has the frequency counter. Looking forward to your review when that new model comes out.

    Magnum OmegaForce S-45 HP Review

Pretty sure JR told me today that they do show the actual frequency, which is read off the PLL and not a preprogrammed display which may or may not be the actual frequency being transmitted on.

    Magnum OmegaForce S-45 HP Review

Don't know about the Magnums, but I am pretty sure the RCI radios are not using a "display" and the radios show the actual frequency being transmitted on.

There is no factory in North America. Those radios are made in China
