    Ques - Re: Kenwood TR-751

Hi Stu, No, I looked through the service manual and op's manual but didn't see anything that would help so I put it on the backburner until I get my clutter of rigs tested and put up to give me some room. If I don't figure it out I may send it to Kenwood, unless someone who owns one can show...

    Help me Understand my meter!!

Re: Meter Help There's nothing stupid about a question as long as you learn from it. I had my share of "stupid" questions way back when.

    How many CBer's are there?

Millions. You don't often hear them, for one reason or the other, but if there are DX conditions, try to find a quiet channel. Some op's just like their local talk, and very often it's SSB and late at night. Others only come out for SKIP. But CB is facing the same problem that HAM radio is...

    Stealth base antenna

How tall are your trees? I used to live in a subdivision with antenna restrictions and bought an A99. Painted it with non-reflective paint that more-or-less matched the tree trunk, then hoisted it up along the trunk of the tree. You had to know it was there to really see it.

    Love's Travel Stops Fined $25,000!

Maybe in your area. In my area, on Ch.19, I've heard truckers debating politics, swapping information about the price of hay (for their cattle), talking about their DSL or Road Runner connections, or where the best wi-fi connections on the road can be found. No, I'm not a trucker, but I enjoy...

    Manly-Man HT

While the HT market is devoted to smaller, and smaller HT's (trying to lure the younger cellphone segment into the hobby), it's time for older guys (or, younger guys with big fingers) to stand up for our rights and demand a "Manly-Man" HT - Hell, it could even be called the "Manly-Man HT" - with...
