Never understood how fibreglass antennas got thr rap of bleedsticks.i mean if you got a decent radio,grounded well,lowpass filter , rf choke,decent coax,how could a glass antenna bleed more than anything else ? i have nieghbors 40 yrds away on both sides of me n i run 100 watts ssb all the time...

does anyone know where to get a ''wired'' router ? not the wireless..the reason i ask is becauce the wireless router we have tears my cb up ..

if you have a plus 3 with this radio,,how do you have your gains set,,?,,microphone and gain on the radio for ssb ? also,,if you use the stock mic,hows your gain set on the radio ....

WW..check out turner plus 3 microphone review by''cbradiomagazine.com''....it definitaly states the plus three has compression . it also says the superside kick although made specificaly for ssb does not . i just cant see where you adjust it . theres another great review n info by Woody,ssb ..

How do you adjust the compression on the plus 3 .. just ordered one but on all the pictures of them i dont see where to adjust for compression .

what about the new box people have to use now if they run rabbit ears or a regular tv antenna ? would the box help , like someone with cable or satilite ?

it would be interesting if you got a box for your tv to test it for tvi whilst tx,ing in your own home to see if theres any difference for tvi .

one time the channel was super quite for bout an hour an a guy broke in and said ''i aint never heard so many sand baggers at one time on this channel''..

from what i understand the astroplane is sapposed to be the deal if your base is in a hole or low location .. if this is true,,why.....also ,,hows the astroplane compare to other antennas tvi wise... signed; a feller in the hole...

Wireweasezl..i have the 2970n2 ..i thought the only difference was a bigger linear inside..i didnt know about the processor..cool beans..i sappose the processor is automatic becauce i see no adjustments for it on the radio..would like to know more about that feature..

how would you figure agl in hilly country ? i tried altitude on google maps with no luck ,also i have a garmin gps but they say the elevation feature on handhelds is very iffy..i guess your location compared to the highest points in your area would be a better indicater of a good location as...

its just like the 2970dx only bout twice as powerfull..
