I will have to agree.... I used it when it first came out, It was ok i guess. It even has QSB while you are talking. I will say it did get the radio bug to bite me and dig out my old equipment and been non stop since then......

Henry calls out on .555 most times then qsy to another and operators come to him.... spin the dial most times and you can find him.. He normaly has a GREAT signal here in the SW, Worked him a few times in the mobil even..

Little Joe, Take both test at same time that way you dont have to pay again all included at same time.. You have a week to study the couple extra questions for the General part. It was well worth it for me.. Did better on the General part then I did the Tech part once I was relaxed and the...

Wait till you get your first "DX" contact (meaning out of the states) then you will be really hooked and it goes on from there... Have fun with it......

Is the '2032' battery a direct replacement for the Kenwood battery? If so I have these at work... Also the factory battery is soldered in, I do have to replace mine it does not hold memory any more.. But NO recieve problems as of yet (knock on wood)

Yes 15 and 12 WIDE open here on the west side... And with the Asia contest this weekend some good DX contacts to be had.. Already got my fair share, and looking for more :laugh:

I dumped 1.5 K into my Imax and went up in smoke, Now it will not tune for nothing even with a barefoot radio.. So flip a coin if you are going to get a good or bad one.. (Imax coming down and Sigma 4 going to go up :w00t:)
