I was in the same boat as you. I got to chapter 4 and I was all confused. Ended up just going start to the question and answer and started memorizing then. Now that I passed, I'm reading the rest of the book.

Thanks for the replies. I was wandering the something. I don't have a radio yet so I haven't even been on the air yet. Who would I send it to and why would anyone want one from me. It will be a while for me to really get into this radio thing, so ill just be patient.

My friend and I are going to be taking our technician test on the 21st at a local ham fest. Iv been taking the practice test from QRZ, and Eham.net four to five times a day and iv been making 90's. My question to you is, Will the real test be just like the practice test's or is it in anyway...

Well, I guess what I'm trying to ask is what radio not to get. There are so many radio's on ebay that I'm not sure what to get as a first radio. I don't have my tech. lic. yet, but I'm working on it. I have some money right now and thought i better get something while I have it. I just didn't...

What meter radio is it that a Technician can use.

I got this one from a local club. So I was sure it was the new one.

Just a quick question for you all. I was reading in the technician book and it was showing that there are two test that have to be taken for the tech. lic.. Is this correct.
