I checked that out. The xformer gives me 24vd, then it is regulated down and adjusted to 14. I have 14 to the board and the regulator. The I am onlt getting the 2.5vdc from the center pin or the regulator though. I have to go through the diodes and caps I think. I wonder If I can just...

At q30,31 and 33 i have no 8volts. Q55,54 and 37 have 14vdc getting to them, bu it ssb on the center pin of q54 and q 37, I have 2.5 volts. I definitly and not getting the 8 volts.

I was thinking the 8 volt also. Of the regulators I am getting 4 volts, 14 going to. I changed them out already. I will be taking your advicee tonight and checking these out.

ok. I fixed the receive. there were two Mc 301 diodes that were bad in the agc circuit. it was also screwdrivered pretty good on the receive cans. Now, the s meter on the rx side is not working right. If I key up near it, the meter shows 3/4 scale. But with l o cal s strong stations, or...

I snapped a few pics of the small pcb. It is hooked up to the cpu board, and the purple wire on the main pcb. Also, there is no static with the antenna hooked up. Uggg.:confused:
