So in the spring of 24 I decided to stop being lazy and accomplish something. Since I’m curious about gmrs local and on vacation I grabbed the no test license for 35 bucks. Then I cracked a book and created an arrl account and got my Tech license. Can’t remember the total now but for less then...
It would take more than a firm ware update to do that. The entire case is molded at an angle. Can’t remember if I can post this or not but there is good information at the radar detector forum.

I would say at this point Uniden has made a solid argument for the number...
Remember your checking the SWR, not SWR's. Historically that feature on a cb radio has been a ballpark reading at best. By the time you step up to HF rigs things get much better. You can fiddle with it if it bugs you, best bet is always use an external SWR/Watt meter.
The RCI 2950 DX cd stood for color display. They have been discontinued.

Doug at Custom CB was the first to do an Rfx-75 to an 880 radio and market it as an option years ago. If your stuck you might give him a call, maybe he would at least offer up some tips. I don’t think he does YouTube videos.
I think you are spot on. Messing with these setting is the old school equivalent of opening up a radio and twisting every VR pot a little. Then trying to put them back in about the same spot. At this point I would be Leary of buying a used Anytone on say E-Bay, might be a dicked up radio that...
