Replaced the 2 resistors, the static is gone, this are normal EXCEPT lol, my freq counter lights are not lighting up, the meters and buttons light up. The dim button seems to just work as an off and on now. I'll keep at it and see what happens. Ohhh yeah, stock mic still makes al the icons...

yeah, i'm on to something here though. theres 2 burned resistors on the cpu board R6 and R4 an 82 and a 56 ohm. Going to replace them and check transistors Q2 and Q4. One of those might have went to ground. Stay tuned !!!
