I thought the VFO hooked there for tx, and crystals had to be added to rx in the receiver. If this is wrong someone jump in and explain :confused1:

Will post pics when I get her done. Now I'm trying to figure out what all goes into the rx mod, there are no crystals in the xt1 or 2 slots, starting to think less & less of this sellers knowledge of her :unsure:

To follow up on this, after I talked to him about it he said it was a 90 - 7 instead on the 90 -3 that the browning mk3 use, and that he didn't use it much and it seemed ok ??? Bidding had got over $125 also, I took a pass. I have a PAL being built for it with lowers added & a freq counter...

Well, I finially scored a browning mk3 :D eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices I need advice on adding channels (externally only, no drilling allowed ) vfo with freq counter ? And best amps to match with it, 500 - 1k range...

I got ahold of a couple today in a deal I made, (one silver eagle & one black and gold), the one curved piece of foam rubber was in both (at the bottom) I believe this is to keep the wires from getting pinched, between that and the screw sleeves it seems to hold the element in place fine.
